In the summer of 2019, we hosted a small, not-quite-legal music event in The Hague. 3-hours in, the police paid us an unfortunate visit and pulled the plug on the sound. Luckily for us, we still managed to document the performing DJs on camera and upload them to YouTube. It was on this day that the Every day is Friday project/platform was born.
Since then, the platform has been fully committed to finding and promoting upcoming talent in both local and international electronic music scenes.
Over the three years that the project has been running we have featured over 100 artists. We have created a series of video interviews and short reports; hosted shows at radio stations such as DUBLAB, Operator, and Alhara; published a monthly podcast; curated parties blending music and art at well-known venues around the Netherlands; and launched the Artist of the Month project.
Working on the Every day is Friday project has been an incredible journey. We have met a lot of interesting and unique creatives, learned a lot about the cultural scene, and most importantly the project has helped and supported artists in their careers.
We are very happy with what we have built and achieved throughout these years, but we also believe that it is time to move forward on to future projects.
On the 7th of March we will be hosting our last event, which will be streamed live on Operator’s website. From then onwards, the Every day is Friday platform will not be updated with any new content.
Please join us from 17:00 to 23:00 on Monday the 7th of March for a small celebration of this journey with a series of artists that have played an important role in the development of the project.

We would like to thank all the artists, radio stations, venues, and organizations that have supported us. Hope to see you all soon!
