Today we sat down with Adrian Marth once again to discuss his favourite Italo disco tracks. From Garrasco’s 1986 track ‘Love Sex For Sale’ to ‘Love on the Rocks’ from the band Lama.
Adrian Marth is a DJ, producer, and label-owner based in Barcelona. Inspired by artists such as Patrick Cowley, Art of Noise, Futuro, and Koto, Neon Indian; Adrian’s music brings together sounds from the beginning of Italo disco.
From legendary American producer Patrick Cowley to modern Dutch artists such as The Hasbeens through Italian duo Nico Band. Last month we talked to Koen, Nils, and Jesse from Utrecht’s Domstad Italo Squad about their favorite Italo disco records.
Three Utrecht bound DJ’s with a passion for disco from the era of neon lights, synthesizers & fast sports cars.
Domstad Italo Squad combines Italo disco with New Beat, Electro, and Chicago House. Although they started as a DJ collective, they soon started hosting parties with artists such as Loud-E, Marsman, and Budino.
